It is said that the very first ‘princess cut’ dress was created for Princess Alix of Hesse. We’ve played with the look of the lengthening seam-free waistline, using the distinct curved panels in the skirt of this dress. These panels are contrasted with angular pleats for a fuller skirt at the back. The Alix Dress is a story of contrasts, just like its namesake.
The Alix Dress made with medium-weight European cotton-linen with a woven texture.

The Alix Dress has a regular fit. The fabric has no stretch.

Each TRIA piece comes with a generous seam allowance - and can be let out almost one full size. As each piece is different (as are all body types), the fit may differ between designs and fabrics, even within the same size. Please refer to the guide below.
